As a public benefit corporation, we strive to enhance the enjoyment of the Rubicon Trail and to preserve responsible recreation on the trail for future generations, while educating the public on responsible recreation, trail use and ethics, trail improvements and maintenance, and NEPA involvement. More about the Rubicon Trail Foundation

We are a non-profit foundation dedicated solely to preserving the Rubicon Trail as a place for responsible motorized/mechanized recreational enjoyment in perpetuity.

We meet in El Dorado County (Placerville area usually). Meetings are monthly (for now), and the results are announced here and on the Friends of the Rubicon email network as appropriate. We have Directors and Officers who manage the Foundation. The public is encouraged to provide input, ideas, suggestions, and concerns directly to the Board of Directors .

We are not a membership (dues) organization, but we welcome donations and contributions to the Foundation.
