El Dorado County has issued a Notice of Preparation for the purpose of doing an EIR on the Rubicon Trail. This is all for the development of a Master Plan by the County for the trail. There is a public meeting to discuss this process that all trail users should attend. This meeting will be held Tuesday, April 18^th 7:00 PM @ the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, just off highway 50, north on Placerville Drive.
