Rubicon Oversight Committee (ROC)

The Rubicon Oversight Committee was formed in order to bring all interested parties in to the same room to discuss the issues facing the world famous Rubicon Trail and to provide solutions. The group is currently an open forum for anyone to join. In the future, members will be voted in to formalize the group. The group has representatives from the county, OHV recreationalists, private property owners, anti-OHV groups, CA4WDC, ENF, FOTR, RTF and individuals. Tom Celio, of the Department of Transportation, chairs the meetings.

Here is a link to the county’s website about the ROC:

ROC meetings are held every second Thursday of the month.
The meetings are currently held at 8:30am or 6:30pm in the DOT offices on Headington Road.  Please contact the County to find out if it's a morning or evening meeting.  The alternating evening/morning meeting format was introduced  to allow more public participation.
